Approximately 50 to 60 people attended the Threshing Day at Moat Farm on 7th January. In addition to the threshing there was an opportunity to see wheel hooping done in the traditional way. Bernard’s’ barns were opened with various displays including restored fire engines, radio equipment, and the steam engine ‘Old Glory’. There was hot soup available for everyone in the refreshment barn. All money raised is to be donated to McMillan Nurses. Thanks to Bernard, Mary and the Holderness Threshermen for a successful day.
